आ नो मित्रावरुणा हव्यजुष्टिं घृतैर्गव्यूतिमुक्षतमिळाभिः । प्रति वामत्र वरमा जनाय पृणीतमुद्नो दिव्यस्य चारोः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no mitrāvaruṇā havyájuṣṭiṃ ghṛtáir gavyū́tim ukṣatam íḷābhiḥ | práti vā́m atra váram ā́ jánāya pṛṇītám udnó divyásya cā́roḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുൺ, ഹവ്യം സ്വീകരിച്ച് ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരിക; ഘൃതത്തിന്റെ സമൃദ്ധിയോടും ഇളാ (പ്രേരണാധാരകൾ)കളോടും കൂടി വിശാലമായ ഗവ്യൂതി—മേച്ചൽഭൂമി ഒഴുക്കിവിടുക. ഇവിടെ പ്രതികാരമായി ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ വരം നിറയ്ക്കുക—ദിവ്യ ഉദ്ന (കിണർ/സ്രോതസ്)ത്തിന്റെ മധുരധാരയിൽ നിന്ന്.
