Sukta 7.4
स गृत्सो अग्निस्तरुणश्चिदस्तु यतो यविष्ठो अजनिष्ट मातुः । सं यो वना युवते शुचिदन्भूरि चिदन्ना समिदत्ति सद्यः ॥
sa gṛtsó agnístarúṇaś cid astu yáto yáviṣṭho ájaniṣṭa mātúḥ | sáṃ yó vánā yuváte śúci-dam bhū́ri cid ánnā sám íd átti sadyáḥ ||
ആ ഗൃത്സ (തീക്ഷ്ണ) അഗ്നി ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി തരുണ—യൗവനശക്തിയായി—ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; മാതാവിൽ നിന്ന് യവിഷ്ഠ—ഏറ്റവും ഇളയവനായി—ജനിച്ചവൻ. അവൻ ശുചി—പവിത്രതയോടെ—വനങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നു, സദ്യഃ—ഉടൻതന്നെ—സമൃദ്ധമായ അന്നത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള പ്രകാശമായി പരിവർത്തിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ട എല്ലാം അവൻ ഏറ്റെടുക്കട്ടെ.
