Sukta 7.38
अभि ये मिथो वनुषः सपन्ते रातिं दिवो रातिषाचः पृथिव्याः । अहिर्बुध्न्य उत नः शृणोतु वरूत्र्येकधेनुभिर्नि पातु ॥
abhí yé mithó vanúṣaḥ sápante rātíṃ divó rāti-sā́caḥ pṛthivyā́ḥ | áhīr budhnyà utá naḥ śṛṇotu varū́try éka-dhenubhir ní pātu ||
പരസ്പരം ചേർന്ന് പരിശ്രമിക്കുകയും ദാനത്തിലേക്ക് തള്ളിപ്പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ആ ശക്തികൾ—സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെ ദാനത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ ദാനത്തിന്റെയും സഹചാരികൾ—ഞങ്ങളോടു സമീപിക്കട്ടെ. ആഴത്തിലുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാനം വസിക്കുന്ന സർപ്പം ആയ അഹി ബുധ്ന്യ ഞങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കട്ടെ; വറൂത്രി എന്ന രക്ഷാശക്തി, ഏകധേನು (ഏകധാര) സമൃദ്ധിയുടെ പാൽക്കറവ പശുക്കളോടുകൂടെ, ഞങ്ങളെ കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ.
