Sukta 7.35
शं नः सूर्य उरुचक्षा उदेतु शं नश्चतस्रः प्रदिशो भवन्तु । शं नः पर्वता ध्रुवयो भवन्तु शं नः सिन्धवः शमु सन्त्वापः ॥
śáṃ naḥ sū́rya urucákṣā́ úd etu śáṃ naś cátasraḥ prádiśo bhavantu | śáṃ naḥ पर्वताः dhruváyo bhavantu śáṃ naḥ síndhavaḥ śám u sántv ā́paḥ ||
ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ശാന്തി: വിശാലദർശനമുള്ള സൂര്യൻ ഉദിക്കട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ശാന്തി: നാലു ദിക്കുകളും ശാന്തിമയങ്ങളാകട്ടെ. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ശാന്തി: പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ ധ്രുവമായി ശാന്തിരൂപങ്ങളാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ശാന്തി: നദികൾ ശാന്തിരൂപങ്ങളാകട്ടെ, ജലങ്ങളും ശാന്തിയാകട്ടെ.
