Sukta 7.33
सत्रे ह जाताविषिता नमोभिः कुम्भे रेतः सिषिचतुः समानम् । ततो ह मान उदियाय मध्यात्ततो जातमृषिमाहुर्वसिष्ठम् ॥
satré ha jātā́viṣitā námobhiḥ kumbhé rétaḥ sisicatuḥ samānám | táto ha mā́na úd iyāya mádhyāt táto jātám ṛ́ṣim āhur vasiṣṭhám ||
സത്രത്തിൽ തന്നേ, ജനനത്തിൽ പ്രേരിതരായി, നമസ്കാരങ്ങളാൽ, അവർ ഒരേ പൊതുവായ രേതസ്സിനെ കുംഭത്തിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു. അവിടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ നിന്നു പ്രാണ-ആത്മാവ് മേലോട്ടുയർന്നു; അവിടെ ജനിച്ച ഋഷിയെ അവർ ‘വസിഷ്ഠൻ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നു—സത്യത്തിൽ സുസ്ഥിതൻ.
