यस्ते मदो युज्यश्चारुरस्ति येन वृत्राणि हर्यश्व हंसि । स त्वामिन्द्र प्रभूवसो ममत्तु ॥
Transliteration
yás te mádo yújyaś cā́rur ásti yéna vṛtrā́ṇi haryaśva háṃsi | sá tvām indra prabhūvaso mamattu ||
Translation
ഹേ ഹര്യശ്വ, നിന്റെ യുക്തമായി ബന്ധിതവും മനോഹരവുമായ മദം (ഉല്ലാസം) ഏതിനാൽ നീ വൃത്രാണി—മൂടിപ്പിടിക്കുന്ന തടസ്സങ്ങളെ—സംഹരിക്കുന്നു; ഹേ പ്രഭൂവസു ഇന്ദ്രാ, അതേ മദം നിന്നെ മത്തനാക്കി നിറയ്ക്കട്ടെ.
