Sukta 7.14
वयं ते अग्ने समिधा विधेम वयं दाशेम सुष्टुती यजत्र । वयं घृतेनाध्वरस्य होतर्वयं देव हविषा भद्रशोचे ॥
vayáṃ te agne sam-ídhā vidhema vayáṃ dāśema suṣṭutī́ yajatra | vayáṃ ghṛténa adhvarásya hotar vayáṃ deva havíṣā bhadra-śoce ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഞങ്ങൾ സമിധയാൽ നിന്നെ പ്രജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഹേ യജത്ര, ശരിയായ സ്തുതിയാൽ (സുസ്തുതി) നിന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ അധ്വരയജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ ഹോതർ, ഞങ്ങൾ ഘൃതം നിനക്കായി ആഹുതിയായി ഒഴുക്കുന്നു; ഹേ ദേവ, ഹവിസ്സാൽ—ഹേ ഭദ്രശോചേ—നിനക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
