इन्द्रासोमा वर्तयतं दिवस्पर्यग्नितप्तेभिर्युवमश्महन्मभिः । तपुर्वधेभिरजरेभिरत्रिणो नि पर्शाने विध्यतं यन्तु निस्वरम् ॥

Transliteration

índrāsomā vartáyatam divás pári agnitaptébhir yuvám aśmahanmábhiḥ | tápurvadhebhir ajárebhir atríṇo ní parśā́ne vidhyatam yántu nisvarám ||

Translation

ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രനും സോമനും! അഗ്നിയാൽ തപ്തമായ കല്ലുകളും ശിലാ-ഹനനശക്തികളും സഹിതം ദിവത്തിൽ നിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ശക്തിയെ താഴേക്ക് തിരിക്കുവിൻ. അജരമായ ദഹനപ്രഹാരങ്ങളാൽ ഭക്ഷകരായ അത്രിണരെ താഴേക്ക് കുത്തി വീഴ്ത്തുവിൻ; അവർ നിസ്വര ലോകത്തിലേക്ക് പോകട്ടെ—അവിടെ സത്യവാക്ക് ഉദിക്കുകയില്ല.
