अयं सो अग्निराहुतः पुरुत्रा यमीशानः समिदिन्धे हविष्मान् । परि यमेत्यध्वरेषु होता ॥
Transliteration
ayáṃ só agnír ā́hutaḥ purutrā́ yám ī́śānaḥ sám id indhé havíṣmān | pári yám éty adhvaréṣu hóta ||
Translation
ഇവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ആ അഗ്നി—പലവിധമായി ആഹുതിയർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ—യജ്ഞാധിപൻ ഹവിഷോടെ സമിധിൽ പൂർണ്ണമായി ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ. ഹോതൃ രൂപത്തിൽ അവൻ അധ്വരങ്ങളിൽ (യജ്ഞകർമ്മങ്ങളിൽ) ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു, അകത്തുനിന്നുതന്നെ അവയെ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
