Sukta 6.72
इन्द्रासोमा वासयथ उषासमुत्सूर्यं नयथो ज्योतिषा सह । उप द्यां स्कम्भथुः स्कम्भनेनाप्रथतं पृथिवीं मातरं वि ॥
indrā́somā vāsáyatha uṣā́sám ut sū́ryaṃ nayatho jyótiṣā sahá | úpa dyā́ṃ skambháthuḥ skámbhanenā́prathataṃ pṛthivī́ṃ mātáraṃ ví ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര–സോമാ! നിങ്ങൾ ഉഷസ്സിനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ജ്യോതിയുടെ ശക്തിയാൽ സൂര്യനെ മുന്നോട്ട് നയിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്കംഭന-ബലത്താൽ ദ്യൗവിനെ താങ്ങുന്നു; മാതൃ പൃഥിവിയെ അവളുടെ വിശാലതയിൽ വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
