Sukta 6.48
तं व इन्द्रं न सुक्रतुं वरुणमिव मायिनम् । अर्यमणं न मन्द्रं सृप्रभोजसं विष्णुं न स्तुष आदिशे ॥
táṃ va indrám na sukrátuṃ váruṇam iva māyínam | aryamáṇaṃ na mandráṃ sṛprá-bhojasaṃ víṣṇuṃ na stuṣe ā́diśe ||
നിങ്ങൾക്കായി ഞാൻ അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു—ഇന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ സുക്രതു (ശക്തമായ സംकल्पമുള്ളവൻ), വരുണനെപ്പോലെ മായിൻ (ജ്ഞാനമയ അധിപത്യമുള്ളവൻ), അര്യമണനെപ്പോലെ മന്ദ്ര (ആനന്ദമയ സൗഹൃദസമന്വയവും ഉദാര പോഷണവും ഉള്ളവൻ), വിഷ്ണുവിനെപ്പോലെ വിശാലമായ ആദേശ/ക്രമീകരണമുള്ളവൻ—അവനെയേ ഞാൻ അനുഗമിക്കേണ്ട ആദിശ (മാർഗദർശക) ശക്തിയായി ഗാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
