Sukta 6.46
अध स्मा नो वृधे भवेन्द्र नायमवा युधि । यदन्तरिक्षे पतयन्ति पर्णिनो दिद्यवस्तिग्ममूर्धानः ॥
ádha smā no vṛdhé bhavéndra na āyám avā́ yudhí | yád antárikṣe patáyanti párṇino didyávas tiǵma-mūrdhānaḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ വർദ്ധനയ്ക്കായി ഭവിക്കേണമേ; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അവ (സഹായകൻ) ആയിരിക്കേണമേ—അന്തരിക്ഷത്തിൽ പർണിനഃ (ചിറകുള്ളവർ) ദിദ്യവഃ (മിന്നുന്നവർ) തീഗ്മമൂർധാനഃ (മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ശിരസ്സുള്ളവർ) പറക്കുമ്പോൾ.
