Sukta 6.24
ततुरिर्वीरो नर्यो विचेताः श्रोता हवं गृणत उर्व्यूतिः । वसुः शंसो नरां कारुधाया वाजी स्तुतो विदथे दाति वाजम् ॥
táturir vīró naryó vícetāḥ śrótā hávaṃ gṛṇatá urvyū́tiḥ | vásuḥ śáṃso narā́ṃ kārudhā́yā vājī́ stutó vidáthe dāti vā́jam ||
അവൻ തുരിരി—വേഗത്തിൽ ജയിക്കുന്ന—വീരൻ; മനുഷ്യർക്കായി നര്യ (മാനവഹിതകരമായ) ശക്തി, വിശാലവിചേതാ (വ്യാപക വിവേകം ഉള്ളവൻ). പാടുന്ന സ്തുതികർത്താവിന്റെ ഹവ (ആഹ്വാനം) അവൻ കേൾക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഊതി (സഹായം) വിശാലമാണ്. ഋഷി രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശംസാ (സ്തുതി) വസു (മൂല്യമുള്ള ധനം)പോലെ; വാജി (ബലവാൻ) സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ട് വിദഥ (സഭ)യിൽ വാജ (ബലം/വിജയം) ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
