Sukta 6.22
य एक इद्धव्यश्चर्षणीनामिन्द्रं तं गीर्भिरभ्यर्च आभिः । यः पत्यते वृषभो वृष्ण्यावान्त्सत्यः सत्वा पुरुमायः सहस्वान् ॥
yá eká íd dhávyas carṣaṇīnā́m índraṃ táṃ gī́rbhir abhy àrca ābhíḥ | yáḥ pátyate vṛṣabhó vṛṣṇyā̀vān satyáḥ sátvā puru-māyáḥ sáhasvān ||
എല്ലാ ജനസമൂഹങ്ങളും സത്യമായി ഹവ്യനീയനായി വിളിക്കേണ്ട ഏകവൻ—ആ ഇന്ദ്രനെ ഞാൻ ഈ ഗീർഭിഃ (സ്തുതി-വചനങ്ങൾ)കൊണ്ട് അഭ്യർചിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ വൃഷഭ—വൃഷ്ണ്യവാൻ (വീര്യസമ്പന്നൻ) ആയി ഭരിക്കുന്നു; സത്യഃ സത്വാ—സത്യസ്വരൂപമായ സത്ത, പുരുമായഃ—അനേകം പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുള്ളവൻ, സഹസ്വാൻ—മഹാശക്തിമാൻ.
