जनं वज्रिन्महि चिन्मन्यमानमेभ्यो नृभ्यो रन्धया येष्वस्मि । अधा हि त्वा पृथिव्यां शूरसातौ हवामहे तनये गोष्वप्सु ॥

Transliteration

jánaṃ vajrin máhi cit mányamānam ebhyó nṛ́bhyo randhayā yéṣv ásmi | ádhā hí tvā pṛthivyā́ṃ śū́ra-sātau hávām̐he tánaye góṣv apsú ||

Translation

ഹേ വജ്രധാരി, താനെത്ര മഹത്തായെന്നു കരുതുന്ന അഹങ്കാരിയായ മനുഷ്യബലത്തെ—ഈ നമ്മുടെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ, അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞാൻ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നിടത്ത്—ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി കീഴടക്കുക. അതിനാൽ, ഹേ ശൂര, ഭൂമിയിൽ ശൂരസാതൗ (വീരവിജയം) യിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ ഹവിക്കുന്നു—തനയത്തിനായി, ഗോ (പ്രകാശകിരണങ്ങൾ) ക്കായി, അപ്സു (ജലങ്ങളിൽ) ക്കായി.
