त्वामग्ने स्वाध्यो मर्तासो देववीतये । यज्ञेषु देवमीळते ॥
Transliteration
tvā́m agne svā́dhyo mártāso devá-vītaye | yajñéṣu devám īḷate ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, സ്വാധ്യരായ മർത്ത്യർ ദേവവീതിക്കായി യജ്ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നെ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുകയും ദേവനായി ആരാധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു—ദേവന്മാർ നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ നയിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ, ദൈവ്യശക്തികൾ നമ്മുടെ ഹവിയിലും വളർച്ചയിലും പങ്കുചേരുവാൻ.
