अग्निर्वृत्राणि जङ्घनद्द्रविणस्युर्विपन्यया । समिद्धः शुक्र आहुतः ॥
Transliteration
agnír vṛtrā́ṇi jaṅghanad draviṇasyúr vipanyáyā | samíddhaḥ śukrá ā́hutaḥ ||
Translation
അഗ്നി ആവരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന വൃത്രങ്ങളെ തകർത്തു; സ്തുതിയുടെ പ്രചോദിതാനന്ദത്തോടെ ധനം ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്; സമിദ്ധനായി, ദീപ്തനായി, ആഹുതനായി—അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ആഹ്വാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടും അർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടും ഉള്ള ജ്വാല.
