कं याथः कं ह गच्छथः कमच्छा युञ्जाथे रथम् । कस्य ब्रह्माणि रण्यथो वयं वामुश्मसीष्टये ॥
káṃ yā́thaḥ káṃ ha gacchathaḥ kám ácchā yuñjā́the rátham | kásya bráhmāṇi raṇyatho vayáṃ vām uśmasī́ṣṭaye ||
നിങ്ങൾ ആരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കാണ് പോകുന്നത്? സത്യത്തിൽ ആരുടെ ദിശയിലേക്കാണ് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നത്? ആരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥം യോജിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്? ആരുടെ ബ്രഹ്മാണി (മന്ത്രങ്ങൾ)യിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു? യജ്ഞസിദ്ധിക്കും അന്തർഇഷ്ടിക്കും വേണ്ടി ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളിരുവരെയും ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
