तव त्ये अग्ने अर्चयो महि व्राधन्त वाजिनः । ये पत्वभिः शफानां व्रजा भुरन्त गोनामिषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
táva tye agne arcáyo máhi vrā́dhanta vā́jinaḥ | yé pátvabhiḥ śaphā́nāṃ vrajā́ bhuránta gónām íṣaṃ stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നിന്റെതുതന്നെ ആ ജ്വാലകളാണ്—അവ മഹത്തായി വർധിക്കുന്നു, വാജ-ശക്തിയാൽ സമ്പൂർണ്ണം. അവ വേഗചലനങ്ങളോടെ പാഞ്ഞ്, കുളമ്പുകളുടെ വേലികൾ തകർത്തു, ദീപ്തമായ ഗോവൃന്ദങ്ങളുടെ കെട്ടുകൾ പൊട്ടിക്കുന്നു—ആ ഇഷ് (വർദ്ധന-പ്രേരണ) സ്തോതാക്കൾക്കായി ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക.
