उत स्य वाज्यरुषस्तुविष्वणिरिह स्म धायि दर्शतः । मा वो यामेषु मरुतश्चिरं करत्प्र तं रथेषु चोदत ॥
utá syá vāj́y aruṣás tuvi-sváṇir ihá smá dhāyi darśatáḥ | mā́ vo yā́meṣu marutaś ciráṃ karat prá táṃ rátheṣu codata ||
ഇതാ ഈ അരുഷ (രുദ്രവർണ്ണ), വാജ്യ (വിജയ/പുരസ്കാര-വാഹക), തുവിഷ്വണി (മഹാനാദമുള്ള) ഇവിടെ സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു—കണ്ണിനു ദൃശ്യമാകുന്നവൻ. ഹേ മരുതുകളേ, യാത്രകളിൽ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ ദീർഘം വൈകിപ്പിക്കരുതേ; രഥങ്ങളിൽ അവനെ മുന്നോട്ടു പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുവിൻ.
