ईळितो अग्न आ वहेन्द्रं चित्रमिह प्रियम् । सुखै रथेभिरूतये ॥
Transliteration
īḷitó agna ā́ vahéndraṃ citrám ihá priyám | sukhái rathebhir ūtáye ||
Translation
സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ടും ആഹ്വാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടും ഉള്ളേ അഗ്നേ, ഇവിടെ ഇന്ദ്രനെ—ബഹുരൂപനും പ്രിയനും—നമ്മുടെ സഹായത്തിനായി സുഖകരമായ രഥങ്ങളോടെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക; നമ്മുടെ യജ്ഞഭൂമിയിലേക്കു ദീപ്തബലത്തിന്റെ അധിപനെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക.
