Sukta 5.43
मातुष्पदे परमे शुक्र आयोर्विपन्यवो रास्पिरासो अग्मन् । सुशेव्यं नमसा रातहव्याः शिशुं मृजन्त्यायवो न वासे ॥
mātúṣpáde paráme śukrá ā́yor vipanyávo rāspirā́so agman | suśévyaṃ námasā rātáhavyā́ḥ śíśuṃ mṛjanty ā́yavo ná vā́se ||
മാതൃപദത്തിന്റെ പരമ ശുക്രസ്ഥാനത്ത്, ആയുവിനെ തേടുന്ന വിപന്യവർ—രാസ്പിരാസർ, ഉത്സുകയാത്രികർ—എത്തി. നമസ്കാരത്തോടെ, രാതഹവ്യർ (അർപ്പിത ഹവിഷുള്ളവർ) ആയി, സുഷേവ്യം—നന്നായി സേവിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിനെ—സജ്ജമാക്കുന്നു; ശിശുവിനെ മൃജന്തീ (ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നവൾ) ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ആയുവിനെ വസ്ത്രംപോലെ അവർ പരിശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു.
