Sukta 5.42
प्र सुष्टुतिः स्तनयन्तं रुवन्तमिळस्पतिं जरितर्नूनमश्याः । यो अब्दिमाँ उदनिमाँ इयर्ति प्र विद्युता रोदसी उक्षमाणः ॥
prá suṣṭutíḥ stanáyantaṃ ruvántaṃ iḷás pátiṃ jaritar nū́nam aśyāḥ | yó abdimā́ṃ udanimā́ṃ íyarti prá vidyútā ródasī ukṣámāṇaḥ ||
ഹേ ജരിതാവേ (സ്തുതികാരാ), നന്നായി നിർമ്മിതമായ സ്തുതി ഇപ്പോൾ ഇളസ്പതിയെ—ഹവിഷിന്റെ അധിപനെ—ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്ന, ഗർജ്ജിക്കുന്നവനെ പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെ. സമുദ്രസദൃശവും ജലമയവുമായ വിപുലതയെ ചലിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും, മിന്നലോടുകൂടെ രണ്ടു ലോകങ്ങളായ രോദസീമേൽ സിഞ്ചനം ചെയ്ത് വർഷിക്കുന്നവനും അവൻ തന്നേ.
