Sukta 5.35
आ तेऽवो वरेण्यं वृषन्तमस्य हूमहे । वृषजूतिर्हि जज्ञिष आभूभिरिन्द्र तुर्वणिः ॥
ā́ te ’vo varéṇyaṁ vṛ́ṣantam asya hūmahe | vṛ́ṣajūtir hí jajñiṣá ābhū́bhir indra turváṇiḥ ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ വരണ്യ (തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടേണ്ട) സഹായത്തെ വിളിക്കുന്നു—നിന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രബലമായ വൃഷന്ത (വർഷക/ഉദ്രേകമയ) പ്രവാഹത്തെ. നീ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ വൃഷജ്യൂതി (ഉച്ചലിക്കുന്ന ഊർജങ്ങളുടെ പ്രേരകൻ) ആകുന്നു; ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര, നിന്റെ ആഭൂഭി (മഹാ പ്രാകട്യങ്ങൾ/ഭവങ്ങൾ)കൊണ്ട് നീ തുർവണി (വേഗവിജയി) ആകുന്നു.
