Sukta 5.15
प्र वेधसे कवये वेद्याय गिरं भरे यशसे पूर्व्याय । घृतप्रसत्तो असुरः सुशेवो रायो धर्ता धरुणो वस्वो अग्निः ॥
prá védhase kaváye védyāya gíraṃ bhare yaśáse pū́rvyāya | ghṛtá-prasatto ásuraḥ su-śévo rāyó dhartā dharúṇo vásvo agníḥ ||
പുരാതന യശസ്സിനായി, അറിയപ്പെടേണ്ട വിധാതാവായ ഋഷി-കവിയ്ക്ക് ഞാൻ വാക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഘൃതംകൊണ്ട് പ്രസന്നനായ, അസുര (പ്രബല ചൈതന്യശക്തിയുടെ അധിപൻ)യും സുശേവ (ഹിതകരൻ)യും ആയ അഗ്നി—രായ (സമൃദ്ധി)യുടെ ധർത്താവ്, അധിഷ്ഠാനം, വസു (ധന-സത്ത)യുടെ വാഹകനാണ്.
