Transliteration

mahī́ dyāvāpṛthivī ihá jyeṣṭhé rucā́ bhavatāṃ śucáyadbhir arkáiḥ | yát sīṃ váriṣṭhe bṛhatī́ viminván ruvád dhókṣā paprathānébhir eváiḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ മഹത്തായ ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവീ, ഇവിടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രഥമസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ, ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന അർക്കങ്ങൾ (സ്തുതിഗീതങ്ങൾ) മുഖേന ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രകാശമയരാകുവിൻ. കാരണം പരമോന്നത വിശാലതയിൽ ബൃഹതീ (വിശാലിനി) തന്റെ വ്യാപ്തികളെ അളക്കുമ്പോൾ, മുഴങ്ങുന്ന വൃഷഭൻ (ബലവാൻ) തന്റെ വികസിക്കുന്ന വേഗങ്ങളാൽ അവയെ പരത്തുന്നു.
