Transliteration
ā́ vām sahásraṃ háraya índra-vāyū abhí práyaḥ | váhantu sóma-pītaye ||
Translation
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രനും വായുവും, നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹസ്ര ഹരി (അശ്വങ്ങൾ/കിരണശക്തികൾ) അർപ്പണത്തോട്ടു നിങ്ങളെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ, സോമപാനത്തിനായി. ബലവും പ്രാണവും ഒന്നിച്ചുള്ള ശക്തികൾ സമൃദ്ധിയായി വന്ന് അമൃതം സ്വീകരിച്ച് നമ്മുടെ സത്തയെ ഉയർത്തട്ടെ.
