Sukta 4.38
उत स्मास्य तन्यतोरिव द्योॠघायतो अभियुजो भयन्ते । यदा सहस्रमभि षीमयोधीद्दुर्वर्तुः स्मा भवति भीम ऋञ्जन् ॥
utá smā́sya tanyatóḥ iva dyó ṛghāyató abhiyújo bhayante | yadā sahásram abhí sīm áyodhīd duḥvártuḥ smā bhavati bhīmá ṛñján ||
ഇടിമുഴങ്ങുന്ന ദ്യൗസിനെപ്പോലെ, അവന്റെ പാഞ്ഞുകയറ്റം ആക്രമകരെ ഭീതിയിലാഴ്ത്തുന്നു. ആയിരം പേർ എതിരായി വന്നാലും അവൻ പോരാടുമ്പോൾ, ദുർഗമമായ പാത പോലും ഭയാനകമാകുന്നു—അവൻ അതിനെ ഭീതിയാൽ വർണ്ണിതമാക്കി, വിജയത്തിനായി വഴിയെ തിരിക്കുന്നു.
