Sukta 4.33
यत्संवत्समृभवो गामरक्षन्यत्संवत्समृभवो मा अपिंशन् । यत्संवत्समभरन्भासो अस्यास्ताभिः शमीभिरमृतत्वमाशुः ॥
yát saṃvatsám ṛbhávo gā́m árakṣan yát saṃvatsám ṛbhávo mā́ ápiṃśan | yát saṃvatsám ábharan bhā́so asyā́s tā́bhiḥ śámībhir amṛtatvám ā́śuḥ ||
ഒരു സമ്പൂർണ്ണ സംവത്സരം ഋഭുക്കൾ ഗാവിനെ (ജ്ഞാനകിരണത്തെ) കാത്തു; ഒരു സംവത്സരം അവളെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തി പരിപൂർണ്ണമാക്കി; ഒരു സംവത്സരം അവളുടെ ദീപ്തമായ ഭാസസ്സുകൾ വഹിച്ചു—ആ ശമീഭിരെന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സുകൗശല്യകൃത്യങ്ങളാൽ അവർ അമൃതത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
