Sukta 4.25
न रेवता पणिना सख्यमिन्द्रोऽसुन्वता सुतपाः सं गृणीते । आस्य वेदः खिदति हन्ति नग्नं वि सुष्वये पक्तये केवलो भूत् ॥
ná revátā paṇínā sakhyám índro ’súnvatā suta-pā́ḥ sáṃ gṛṇīte | ā́sya védaḥ khidáti hánti nagnáṃ ví súsve paktáye kévalo bhūt ||
ഇന്ദ്രൻ ധനവാനായ പണിയുമായി സൗഹൃദം സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നില്ല; സോമപാനിയായ സുതപാ, സോമം പിഴിയാത്ത (അസുന്വത)വനോട് സമ്മതം കൊടുക്കുന്നുമില്ല. അവന്റെ വേദം (ജ്ഞാനം) ക്ലേശിപ്പിക്കുകയും നഗ്നമായ ശൂന്യതയെ അടിച്ചു തകർക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്നാൽ നന്നായി പിഴിയുന്നവന് (സുഷ്വയ)ക്കും പരിപക്വന് (പക്തയേ)ക്കും അവൻ പൂർണ്ണമായി സന്നിഹിതനാകുന്നു.
