Sukta 4.23
द्रुहं जिघांसन्ध्वरसमनिन्द्रां तेतिक्ते तिग्मा तुजसे अनीका । ऋणा चिद्यत्र ऋणया न उग्रो दूरे अज्ञाता उषसो बबाधे ॥
druhám jighāṃsandhvarásam anindrā́ṃ tétikte tigmā́ tujáse ánīkā | ṛṇā́ cid yátra ṛṇa-yā́ na ugró dūré ajñā́tā uṣáso babādhe ||
ഇന്ദ്രനില്ലാത്ത ദ്രോഹത്തെയും ഉഗ്രധാവനെയും സംഹരിക്കുവാൻ അവൻ തീക്ഷ്ണവും ദീപ്തവുമായ അണിയുള്ള അഗ്രങ്ങളെ മൂർച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ശത്രുരൂപമായ ഋണങ്ങൾ (ഭാരങ്ങൾ) നമ്മെ അമർത്തുന്നിടത്തിലും, ആ ഉഗ്രശക്തി തടസ്സമാകുന്ന അജ്ഞാത ഉഷസ്സുകളെ ദൂരത്തേക്ക് തുരത്തുന്നു; അതിനാൽ സത്യ ഉഷസ് ഭേദിച്ച് ഉദിക്കുന്നു.
