Sukta 4.20
मा नो मर्धीरा भरा दद्धि तन्नः प्र दाशुषे दातवे भूरि यत्ते । नव्ये देष्णे शस्ते अस्मिन्त उक्थे प्र ब्रवाम वयमिन्द्र स्तुवन्तः ॥
mā́ no mardhīr ā́ bharā daddhí tán naḥ prá dāśúṣe dā́tave bhū́ri yát te | návye deṣṇé śasté asmín ta ukthe prá bravāma vayám indra stuvántaḥ ||
ഞങ്ങളെ ഞെരിച്ചുതകർക്കരുതേ; അതിനെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി സ്ഥാപിക്കേണമേ—സമൃദ്ധമായി—ദാതാവിന് യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ദാനം നൽകുവാൻ കഴിയേണ്ടതിന്. ഈ പുതിയ ദേഷ്ണ (ദാന-കർമ്മ)യിൽ, ഈ ശസ്ത (സ്തുതി)യിൽ, ഈ ഉക്ത (പവിത്രോച്ചാരം)ത്തിൽ, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങൾ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നവർ അതിനെ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു.
