आ नो मित्रावरुणा घृतैर्गव्यूतिमुक्षतम् । मध्वा रजांसि सुक्रतू ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no mitrā́varuṇā ghṛtáiḥ gavyū́tim ukṣatam | mádhvā rajā́ṃsi sukratū ||

Translation

ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുണന്മാരേ! ഘൃതത്തിന്റെ ദീപ്തിയോടെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരുവിൻ; ഗവ്യൂതി—കിരണങ്ങളിലേക്കു നയിക്കുന്ന പഥം—ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി തുറന്നുതരുവിൻ. ഹേ സുകൃതൂ, മധുരമായ മധുവാൽ രജാംസി—അന്തരിക്ഷവ്യാപ്തികൾ—നിറയ്ക്കുവിൻ.
