Sukta 3.61
उषो वाजेन वाजिनि प्रचेताः स्तोमं जुषस्व गृणतो मघोनि । पुराणी देवि युवतिः पुरंधिरनु व्रतं चरसि विश्ववारे ॥
uṣó vājéna vājini prá-cetāḥ stómam juṣasva gṛṇató maghoni | purāṇī́ devi yuvatíḥ puraṃdhír ánu vratáṃ carasi viśva-vāre ||
ഹേ ഉഷസ്സേ, വാജത്താൽ—ബലസമൃദ്ധിയാൽ—ഹേ വാജിനീ, ഹേ പ്രചേതാ (വിശാലചേതന)! പാടുന്ന സ്തോതാവിന്റെ സ്തോമം സ്വീകരിക്കണമേ, ഹേ മഘോണി (ധനദാത്രീ). പുരാതനയെങ്കിലും നിത്യയൗവനമുള്ള ദേവി, പുരന്ധി (വിവേക-പ്രജ്ഞ) നിറഞ്ഞവളേ, ഹേ വിശ്വവാരേ (സർവ്വകാമ്യേ)! നീ വ്രതാനുസാരമായി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; ലോകത്തിന്റെ വരങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു.
