इन्द्र ऋभुभिर्वाजिभिर्वाजयन्निह स्तोमं जरितुरुप याहि यज्ञियम् । शतं केतेभिरिषिरेभिरायवे सहस्रणीथो अध्वरस्य होमनि ॥
índra ṛ́bhubhir vājíbhir vājáyann ihá stómam jaritúr úpa yāhi yajñíyam | śatáṃ két ebhir iṣirébhir ā́yave sahásra-nītho adhvarásya hómani ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഋഭുക്കളോടും വാജി (വേഗവാൻ) ബലവാന്മാരോടും കൂടി, ഇവിടെ വാജം (സമൃദ്ധി) കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്, യജ്ഞയോഗ്യമായ ജരിതാവിന്റെ സ്തോമത്തിനരികേ വരിക. അന്വേഷകനായി നൂറു തീക്ഷ്ണ കേതുക്കൾ (പ്രജ്ഞാകിരണങ്ങൾ) ഉള്ളവനേ, ആയിരം വഴികളാൽ നയിക്കുന്നവനേ, അധ്വരത്തിന്റെ ഹോമനിയിൽ—അർപ്പണസ്ഥാനത്ത്—സന്നിഹിതനാകണമേ.
