प्र कारवो मनना वच्यमाना देवद्रीचीं नयत देवयन्तः । दक्षिणावाड्वाजिनी प्राच्येति हविर्भरन्त्यग्नये घृताची ॥

Transliteration

prá kāravó mananā́ vacyámānā devadrī́cīṃ nayata devayántaḥ | dakṣiṇāvā́ḍ vā́jinī prā́cy éti havírbharanty agnáye ghṛtā́cī ||

Translation

മുന്നോട്ട് പോവുക, ഹേ ഗായകരേ, മനസ്സിൽ ചിന്തയെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തി വാക്കിനെ പണിയുമ്പോൾ; ദേവന്മാരെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരേ, അതിനെ ദേവദിശയിലേക്കു നയിക്കുവിൻ. ദക്ഷിണയോടുകൂടിയ വാജിനീ ശക്തി കിഴക്കോട്ടു നീങ്ങുന്നു; ഘൃതപ്രഭയുള്ള പഥം കൈവശമുള്ള അവൾ അഗ്നിക്കായി ഹവിസ് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു.
