अयं मित्रो नमस्यः सुशेवो राजा सुक्षत्रो अजनिष्ट वेधाः । तस्य वयं सुमतौ यज्ञियस्यापि भद्रे सौमनसे स्याम ॥
Transliteration
ayám mitró namasyàḥ suśévo rājā́ sukṣatró ajaniṣṭa vedhā́ḥ | tásya vayám sumatáu yajñíyasyā́pi bhadré saúmanase syā́ma ||
Translation
ഈ മിത്രൻ നമസ്കാരാർഹൻ—സുശേവൻ, ദയാമയൻ; നല്ല അധിപത്യമുള്ള രാജാവ്; വേധാ, കര്മത്തിനായി ജനിച്ച ജ്ഞാനിയായ ക്രമീകരകൻ. ആ യജ്ഞിയ (ആരാധ്യ) ദേവന്റെ സുമതിയിലും, ശുഭമായ സൗമനസിലും ഞങ്ങൾ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.
