Transliteration
vā́jeṣu sāsahír bhava tvā́m īmahe śatakrato | índra vṛtrā́ya hántave ||
Translation
വാജങ്ങളിൽ ജയിക്കുന്നവനായി ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കേണമേ; ഹേ ശതക്രതു ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെയേ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു—വൃത്രനെ വധിക്കുവാൻ, പ്രകാശത്തെയും ഗതിയെയും മറയ്ക്കുന്നവനെ സംഹരിക്കുവാൻ.
