प्र यत्सिन्धवः प्रसवं यथायन्नापः समुद्रं रथ्येव जग्मुः । अतश्चिदिन्द्रः सदसो वरीयान्यदीं सोमः पृणति दुग्धो अंशुः ॥

Transliteration

prá yát síndhavaḥ pra-saváṃ yáthā́yan ā́paḥ samudráṃ rathyèva jagmúḥ | atáś cid índraḥ sádaso várīyān yád īṃ sómaḥ pṛṇáti dúgdhó aṃśúḥ ||

Translation

സിന്ധവഃ (നദികൾ) പ്രേരിത പ്രവാഹത്തിൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, ജലങ്ങൾ പാതയിലെ രഥങ്ങൾപോലെ സമുദ്രത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോൾ—അപ്പോൾ അതിനാലും ഇന്ദ്രൻ സഭയെക്കാൾ വിശാലനാകുന്നു, പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്ത പ്രകാശമുള്ള അംശുരൂപ സോമൻ അവനെ നിറയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ.
