Sukta 3.31
मिहः पावकाः प्रतता अभूवन्त्स्वस्ति नः पिपृहि पारमासाम् । इन्द्र त्वं रथिरः पाहि नो रिषो मक्षूमक्षू कृणुहि गोजितो नः ॥
míhaḥ pāvakā́ḥ prátatā abhūvan svastí naḥ pipṛhi pā́ram āsā́m | índra tvaṃ rathiráḥ pāhi no riṣó mákṣūmakṣū kṛṇuhi gojító naḥ ||
പാവകമായ മഴകൾ വ്യാപിച്ചു; ഈ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെ/പ്രവാഹങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പുറത്തേക്കു ഞങ്ങളെ സ്വസ്തിയോടെ എത്തിക്കണമേ. ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര, രഥബലത്തിൽ ദൃഢനായവനേ, ഞങ്ങളെ ഹാനിയിൽ നിന്ന് കാക്കുക; അതിവേഗം, വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും, ഞങ്ങളെ ഗോജിത്—പ്രകാശകിരണങ്ങളുടെ ജയികളായി—ആക്കുക.
