त्रिभिः पवित्रैरपुपोद्ध्यर्कं हृदा मतिं ज्योतिरनु प्रजानन् । वर्षिष्ठं रत्नमकृत स्वधाभिरादिद्द्यावापृथिवी पर्यपश्यत् ॥
tribhíḥ pavítrair ápupod dhyàrkaṁ hṛdā́ matíṁ jyótir ánu prajā́nann | várṣiṣṭhaṁ rátnaṁ akṛta svadhā́bhir ād íd dyā́vāpṛthivī́ pár yapaśyat ||
മൂന്ന് പവിത്രങ്ങളാൽ (ചാലനികളാൽ) അവൻ അർക്കത്തെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു; ഹൃദയത്താൽ മതിയെ—ജ്യോതിസ്സിനെ അനുഗമിച്ച്, പൂർണ്ണ പ്രജ്ഞാനത്തോടെ. സ്വധാഭിഃ (സ്വശക്തി/സ്വനിയമം) കൊണ്ടു അവൻ വർഷിഷ്ഠ രത്നം—അത്യധികമായി ‘വർഷിക്കുന്ന’ നിധി—സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; പിന്നെ ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവിയെ ചുറ്റി വ്യാപിച്ച് അവൻ ദർശിച്ചു.
