Sukta 3.17
यथायजो होत्रमग्ने पृथिव्या यथा दिवो जातवेदश्चिकित्वान् । एवानेन हविषा यक्षि देवान्मनुष्वद्यज्ञं प्र तिरेममद्य ॥
yáthā́yajo hotrám agne pṛthivyā́ yáthā́ divó jā́tavedas cikitvā́n | evā́néna havíṣā yakṣi devā́n manuṣvád yajñáṃ prá tirémám adyá ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഭൂമിയിൽ നീ ഒരിക്കൽ ഹോത്രകർമ്മം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ, ദ്യൗവിൽ നിന്നുമും, ഹേ ജാതവേദസേ, ചികിത്വാൻ (ജാഗ്രതജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവൻ) ആയി നീ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ—അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഇപ്പോൾ ഈ ഹവിഷാൽ ദേവന്മാരെ യജിക്കണമേ; മനുഷ്യവിധിപ്രകാരം ഈ യജ്ഞത്തെ ഇന്ന് മുന്നോട്ട് നയിച്ച്, അതിന്റെ നിലവിലെ പരിധി കടത്തണമേ.
