अयं वां मित्रावरुणा सुतः सोम ऋतावृधा । ममेदिह श्रुतं हवम् ॥

ayáṃ vā́ṃ mitrā́varuṇā sutáḥ sóma ṛtāvṛ́dhā | máméd ihá śrútaṃ hávam ||

ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുൺ, ഋതാവൃധാ (ഋതത്തെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരേ), നിങ്ങള്ക്കായി പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഈ സോമം ഇതാ; ഇവിടെ ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ എന്റെ ഹവൻ-ആഹ്വാനം ശ്രവിക്കുവിൻ.
