Sukta 2.38
पुनः समव्यद्विततं वयन्ती मध्या कर्तोर्न्यधाच्छक्म धीरः । उत्संहायास्थाद्व्यृतूँरदर्धररमतिः सविता देव आगात् ॥
púnar sám avyad ví-tataṃ váyantī madhyā́ kartór ní adhāc chákma dhī́raḥ | út saṃ-hā́ya asthād vy ṛtū́n adardhaḥ arámatīḥ savitā́ devá ā́ agāt ||
വീണ്ടും അവൾ വിരിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന ജാലം നെയ്യുന്നു; പ്രവൃത്തിയുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ദൃഢനായ ധീരൻ അചലമായ ആധാരം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. ഉയർന്ന് അവൻ ഋതുക്കളെ സമാഹരിച്ചു ശരിയായ അളവുകളിൽ വേർതിരിച്ചു നിശ്ചയിച്ചു; ഫലപ്രദമായ ഇച്ഛാശക്തി (അമതി)യോടെ ദേവൻ സവിതൃ വന്നു.
