Sukta 2.38
विश्वस्य हि श्रुष्टये देव ऊर्ध्वः प्र बाहवा पृथुपाणिः सिसर्ति । आपश्चिदस्य व्रत आ निमृग्रा अयं चिद्वातो रमते परिज्मन् ॥
víśvasya hí śruṣṭáye devá ūrdhváḥ prá bā́havā pṛthú-pāṇiḥ sísarti | ā́paś cid asya vratá ā́ ni-mṛ́grā ayáṃ cid vā́to ramate pári-jman ||
സകലത്തിന്റെയും ശ്രവണത്തിനും പ്രതികരണത്തിനുമായി ദേവൻ ഊർദ്ധ്വമായി ഉയരുന്നു; വിശാലഹസ്തൻ, പൃഥുപാണി, അവൻ തന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് നീട്ടുന്നു. ജലങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വ്രതത്തിന് കീഴടങ്ങി നിശ്ചിത രൂപങ്ങളിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; ഈ വായുവും പരിജ്മൻ പഥം ചുറ്റി ആനന്ദത്തോടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
