Sukta 2.23
भरेषु हव्यो नमसोपसद्यो गन्ता वाजेषु सनिता धनंधनम् । विश्वा इदर्यो अभिदिप्स्वो मृधो बृहस्पतिर्वि ववर्हा रथाँ इव ॥
bharéṣu hávyo námasopasádyó gántā vā́jeṣu sánitā dhánaṃdhanam | víśvā íd aryó abhídipsvo mṛ́dho bṛ́haspátir ví vavarhā ráthāṃ iva ||
ഭരേഷു—സമരത്തിന്റെ അമർച്ചയിൽ—അവൻ ഹവ്യൻ, നമസ്കാരത്തോടെ ഉപസദ്യൻ—സമീപിക്കേണ്ടവൻ. വാജേഷു അവൻ ഗന്താ—വരുന്നവൻ; ധനം-ധനം—സമ്പത്തിന്മേൽ സമ്പത്ത് ജയിക്കുന്നവൻ. അസൂയയുള്ള ആക്രമിയുടെ എല്ലാ മൃധങ്ങളെയും ബൃഹസ്പതി, രഥങ്ങൾ തടസ്സങ്ങൾ തള്ളി കടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, പിരിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
