अनानुदो वृषभो जग्मिराहवं निष्टप्ता शत्रुं पृतनासु सासहिः । असि सत्य ऋणया ब्रह्मणस्पत उग्रस्य चिद्दमिता वीळुहर्षिणः ॥

Transliteration

anānudó vṛ́ṣabho jagmí rāhávaṃ níṣṭaptā śátruṃ pṛ́tanāsu sāsahíḥ | ási satyá ṛṇayā́ brahmaṇaspata ugrásya cid damitā́ vīḷuhárṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മണസ്പതി (വാക്കിന്റെ അധിപതി), നീ വഴങ്ങാത്ത വൃഷഭൻ; അന്തർയുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ആഹ്വാനത്തിലേക്ക് നീ മുന്നേറുന്നു. പൃതനകളിൽ നീ ശത്രുവിനെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ച് ജയിക്കുന്നു. നീ സത്യൻ; ഋണയാ—ഋതമാർഗ്ഗാന്വേഷികളിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവൻ. ഉഗ്രബലത്തെയും നീ അടക്കുന്നു, ഹേ വീളുഹർഷിണ്—ശൂരരെ ഉല്ലസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഉണർത്തുന്ന ശക്തി.
