Sukta 2.15
सद्मेव प्राचो वि मिमाय मानैर्वज्रेण खान्यतृणन्नदीनाम् । वृथासृजत्पथिभिर्दीर्घयाथैः सोमस्य ता मद इन्द्रश्चकार ॥
sadmeva prāco vi mimāya mānair vajreṇa khāny atṛṇan nadīnām | vṛthā sṛjat pathibhir dīrghayāthaiḥ somasya tā made indraś cakāra ||
വാസസ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, അവൻ അളവുകളാൽ മുന്നിലെ വിസ്താരങ്ങളെ അളന്ന് ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തി; വജ്രത്താൽ നദികളുടെ ചാനലുകൾ കുത്തിത്തുറന്നു. ദീർഘയാത്രയുടെ പാതകളിലൂടെ അവയെ ഒഴുകാൻ വിട്ടയച്ചു—സോമമദത്തിൽ ഇവയെ ഇന്ദ്രൻ നിർവഹിച്ചു.
