Sukta 10.98
अस्मे धेहि द्युमतीं वाचमासन्बृहस्पते अनमीवामिषिराम् । यया वृष्टिं शंतनवे वनाव दिवो द्रप्सो मधुमाँ आ विवेश ॥
asmé dhehi dyumátīṃ vā́cam āsán bṛ́haspate anamīvā́m iṣirā́m | yayā vṛ́ṣṭiṃ śáṃtanave vánāva divó drapsó mádhumān ā́ viveśa ||
ഹേ ബൃഹസ്പതേ, ഞങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് ദ്യുമതീ (പ്രകാശമയ) വാക്കിനെ സ്ഥാപിക്കണമേ—അത് ഉള്ളിൽ ഉറച്ചിരിപ്പുറപ്പെടട്ടെ, അനാമീവ (അപായരഹിത)മായിരിക്കട്ടെ, ഇഷിര (വേഗപ്രേരിത)മായിരിക്കട്ടെ—അതിലൂടെ ശന്തനുവിനായി വർദ്ധന നൽകുന്ന മഴ ഞങ്ങൾ നേടട്ടെ; സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെ മധുമയ തുള്ളി ഞങ്ങളുടെ അസ്തിത്വത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കട്ടെ.
