यज्ञेन यज्ञमयजन्त देवास्तानि धर्माणि प्रथमान्यासन् । ते ह नाकं महिमानः सचन्त यत्र पूर्वे साध्याः सन्ति देवाः ॥
yajñéna yajñám ayajanta devā́s tā́ni dhármāṇi prathamā́ny āsan | té ha nā́kaṃ mahimā́naḥ sacanta yátra pū́rve sādhyā́ḥ sánti devā́ḥ ||
യജ്ഞത്തിലൂടെ ദേവന്മാർ യജ്ഞത്തെയേ യജ്ഞമായി അർപ്പിച്ചു; അതായിരുന്നു ഋതത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ ധർമ്മങ്ങൾ. ആ മഹിമയാൽ അവർ പരമ നാകം (ഉന്നത സ്വർഗ്ഗം) പ്രാപിച്ചു; അവിടെ പുരാതന സാദ്ധ്യ ദേവന്മാർ വസിക്കുന്നു—സിദ്ധമായ ശക്തികൾ, ദൈവിക പ്രവർത്തിയുടെ ആദിയിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നവർ.
